I laughed happily at his horsing around, but his words hit home and I
couldn't help just staring at him. This was it, the moment we had wished for
and dreaded all at once...I leant forward and kissed him tenderly, "no more
secrets," I said with a smile. I stood, putting aside my glass and took his
hand. "Why do I suddenly feel like a little kid again?" I asked as I led him
out of the room and towards the stairs. I guessed Derek would be around here
somewhere. I could hear voices and followed them.
