Reese chuckled and then gave Sam a playful whap "Something about forgetting
to clean up after playing in the sandbox maybe? Derek, hmm?"
She stored that name away, especially when it had been one of the names she
had come across in the diary she had been reading and told Sam as much. But
she wanted to know more about Derek.. well, because Sam seemed interested.
That made Reese interested. Darn protective vibe, she thought humorously as
they left the attic and locked it behind them. She was sure Sam would
understand.
"Think we should wake the love birds up or let them sleep a little more?"
she asked with a grin.
Samantha:
"Let 'em sleep, that way we can use up all the hot water. Should be just
enough our showers. Tell you what while you're getting cleaned up, I'm
going to take a little nap, and you better remember to wake me up. I mean it
too Reesie, don't you let me sleep all day and miss meeting your dad."
