He followed her to the counter, "I know," he replied with a wan smile, he couldn't blame her for wanting to help the child, "but Julia you can not keep over extending yourself like this." He looked at her closely touching her face, she was warmer than she had been. His first instinct was to take her home, though he wanted to meet this group, but he wouldn't do it if he thought Julia couldn't get through it. "How do you feel," there was tone in his voice that said he wanted the truth and not some glossed over version of it. NM: The sales lady started to point Julia toward the watches displayed in the counter and Julia noted one and commented that it looked great but "I'm keeping a promise, two outfits, thanks anyway." then turned to Derek and answered honestly, with a quiet smile "Tired but not enough to keep from meeting these people. First sign of feeling bad and I promise I'll let you know. I won't even argue too much when you try throwing me over your shoulder." "Although," she admitted, rubbing the back of her neck before accepting the credit card back and the sales lady offering her the bag "I might try and bribe you into grounding me into another room...." "Which reminds me," she added as she accepted the bag and gave the woman a slight wave as she lowered her hand and looked at Derek "what with Patrick and.. using my abilities to let Kat and Rachel visit him... would it be possible to move into another room? Something away from the main traffic of the others' rooms?" There was a room on the third floor down the hall from Derek's but she wasn't sure what or if he used that room for anything. She still didn't want anyone else to know about her or the change.. at least not yet. She would have rather just let the person, whoever it may be, find out on their own than her telling them.
