"Stay like this for about a week." she stretched, almost like a cat, and sighed, smiling through another small yawn. ====== Brady wrapped his arms around her tighter loving the feel of her pressed to him. "That does sound like a good plan but you know we can't do that." ====== "Sure we can," she smiled "We just have to slip it in between everything else we have to do." ====== "I guess we could if you work it out that way." he said smiling back at her. ====== She sighed and settled her head against his chest, listening to his heartbeat as she suggested with a small yawn, tracing one hand along the side of his rib cage "Set the alarm clock for 9 so we get time to read through some of what we got?" ====== He reach over and pushed the buttons for the alarm to go off at 9 in the morning. "That should give us some time to read through some and get ready. So I guess her father is going to be joining us?" ====== She nodded against him and closed her eyes "Mmmhmm.. I hope it goes well for her, but it should be interesting if he's involved in any of that stuff we pulled up. Not that I'm going to grill him when we meet, mind you... but it's still interesting." ====== "I hope it goes well too, he does seem like an interesting character." ====== She couldn't help it and looked at him with a tease "You're an interesting character yourself, babe." ====== "And how am I an interesting character. Enlighten me please." ====== Claire gasped, mock surprised "You mean you're not enlightened already?" ====== "Maybe, maybe not, I'll never tell" he said teasing her some more. ====== She propped her head up, laying her chin on flat hands against his stomach as she teased right back and with a twinkle in her eyes "You know... you aren't acting all that tired. You holding out on me, babe? Got a secret energy pill or something?" ====== "Yeah I got a secret energy pill. And it's laying right on top of me." he said running a finger along her cheek. "I love you babe." ====== Claire smiled softly and leaned up to kiss him, rubbing his nose with her own before doing so "Good answer, babe. Good answer." She then chuckled and turned so that they were laying side by side and grinning "I love you too, o enlightened one." ====== "At least I was being honest" he said running his fingers through her hair. "Ready to head off to dream world" he asked as he wrapped his arms around her. ====== "Me too, babe." she sighed as he stroked her hair and laid her head down again and nodded slowly, closing her eyes to the beating of his heart and the rhythm of his hands on her hair. ===== He closed his eyes and enjoyed the feel of her laying beside him wrapped in his arms.
