"Here you go," she teased him
as she handed the keys back to him "All safe and sound and in one piece. And I
hope they have coffee on."
Alex had heard the engine and
doors from the kitchen and was already at the front door to motion them in
"Coffee's on."
She and Nick had both had
time to shower and change while keeping an eye on Rachel with the signs of
withdraw just barely starting to show. Nick was with Rachel right now,
trying to get her back to sleep.
"Rachel's awake... and it's
not good." she said by way of explanation as she backed into the house and
turned to go upstairs.
