"Perhaps," Derek said thoughtfully. "Though, I tend to think that most of
it is in her imagination." That was true there was some fact mixed in what
she said, but there was a line someplace where it crossed over to fiction.
"Kat," Derek asked curiously raising an eye brow. "What sort of idea?"
NM:
"I was looking through some things this morning while downloading the
headlines and there's a new thing being done in this area. A home school
group." She explained "It teaches same levels and even higher than the
schools but is focused on giving more of a one on one aspect to teaching
than the group classes schools are doing now. Average home schooling group
consists of 10 students at the most and they meet at a building they
purchased. Once a week all of the groups come together for field trips.
Each parent, or person that wants to be involved get licensed to teach and
take turns teaching a class day."
She looked at her mug for a moment and then at him, "We can't keep her out
of school indefinitely... and we run the risk of Miranda having an influence
over her in the public school where they're both registered. I'd be willing
to get the teaching license and help out until Rachel's able to make a
decision or do it herself."
