She paced in front of the breakfast bar, coffee forgotten as she waited.
 
It wasn't doubt she had about the program.  She had spent days and nights on it and knew it would work.  It was the fact Horton would have focused on Derek.... and if Horton got his hands on him when the program was initiated....
 
Julia closed her eyes and took a deep breath, literally reminding herself that Derek was more than able to watch after himself and that, in a way, they had both been given a promise that they had time together.  She had felt it when she was returned to this life.
 
Then she smiled slightly, remembering what he had said about not leaving now.
 
She turned toward the window that showed the House, feeling a sudden calm. 
 
It would be all right.  She just had to wait for Derek to come back and watch Rachel while she waited.
