Alex came back in with Frank, just as Julia looked up and
then motioned for her to come over and nodded once in greeting at the one with
her friend before looking at Derek and then back at Alex. They kept their
voices down as Julia brought her up to date on what was happening and that she
needed to go check on Kat.
Julia also figured this would be a good time to have that
talk with Kat as well although she wasn't looking forward to it.
She motioned for Derek to join her off to the side for a
moment, wanting to give him her take on the situation and to let him know what
she was doing.
