Julia also figured this would be a good time to have that talk with Kat as
well although she wasn't looking forward to it.
She motioned for Derek to join her off to the side for a moment, wanting to
give him her take on the situation and to let him know what she was doing.
Frank:
Frank nodded at Julia with a smile raising a curious eyebrow at Derek. He
now had two young pretty women in his employ it semmed. Three if you
counted Rachel, which he actually did. He then turned to the precept.
"I'm a HOMICIDE dective Derek," he announced. "So, why did you call me in
on an art theft?" He really wasn't irritated, but didn't mind giving off
the appearance that he was.
derek:
"This is a special case," Derek told him. "We have video footage of him
taking it, but we can't seem tot find it and he won't tell us where it is.
I was hoping you could take him and....hold on to him for awhile, to let him
think about the gravity of the matter. This is a very important painting
and it must be found." His tone of voice changed enough to make it clear to
Frank that this was Legacy business and not simply a theft from the Luna
Foundation. The policeman knew full well that he should respect the
supernatural.
Frank:
"I see, I think something can be arranged." He moved to edwin and read him
his rights. When he got tot he part about the lawyer, he added,
"unfortunately, the phone in our holding area is currently on the
blink....so you'll have to do your contacting via mail I'm afraid or courier
perhaps." He handcuffed the man and escorted him ou driving him to the jail
and putting him in an out of the way holding cell.
Derek:
As frank began this process, Derek moved over to Julia's side, keeping an
eye on the action, but paying close attention to her as well.
