Derek looked over at Rachel for a moment, she seemed to be sleeping fairly
peacefully. "The doctor had a family emergency and had to leave," he
whispered. Gently taking her arm he opened the door. "Let's talk out here."
He led her into the lving room and closed the door behind them. "I think
she'll be all right for a little while."
