A soft smile touched Derek's lips. "So am I," he agreed. "Though, most
would say there is no such thing as accidents and coincidence. Destiny just
happens and perhaps that's all this is. Though, I must admit it was a bit
of a...surprise to me." Not the fact that he loved her of course, but he
fact that she care about him at all.
Julia looked at him curiously, the smile lighting her eyes but still soft
"What's a surprise to you?"
