A few minutes later she knocked on the door and waited while the woman with
dark hair.. Julia if she remembered correctly... opened it for her and
stepped back to let her pass.
She saw Rachel sitting at the breakfast bar and blinked as she noticed the
woman was already eating some solid food. Good sign considering she wasn't
protesting and had obviously eaten a good amount already.
She set her things on the couch and went over to her patient, smiling wryly
when she got one of Rachel's wrists to take her pulse and, a medical doctor
herself, Rachel just rolled her eyes and continued to eat with the other.
"I hope you behaved?" she teased the woman, having gotten to know her a
little during her time of looking over her.
Rachel put her fork down and chuckled a little, sneaking a look at Julia
before answering humorous, yet tiredly "I was good, mom. I'm tired now
though. Want to sleep.... seeing Kat tomorrow."
Derek:
Derek greeted teh nurse and watched the exchange between the two women. For
the first time, he actually felt better about leaving the nurse alone with
Rachel. "Perhaps you should get some rest," he suggested slipping off the
stool and giving her a warm hug. "We'll bring Kat by tomorrow evening after
dinner...perhaps we can pring dessert." He thought Kat might like that.
