Nick woke up his usual time and was already on his morning run, at the same time doing a parameter check.

The rest of the house, except for Jonathan of course, had still been asleep.  So Nick took this time to do some thinking.

He stopped at a clearing and stretched, breathing hard from his running, and then straightened, shaking out his legs and pulling the front of his sweat shirt away from his already damp with sweat chest.  There was a large sweat stain on the gray fabric he pretty much ignored as his gaze swept the area.

Julia had come back, in the flesh and things were as if she had never left - and yet different.

In hind sight it made sense, with what was obvious now.  He hadn't been the only one that had felt a certain kind of pain when she was killed and he felt bad that he hadn't seen it until now.

But Julia was obviously happy now and so was Derek.  Nick grinned to himself.  That was what counted and it was damn good to see the man that had been not only a mentor to him, but the closest thing to a father he had known, his own father included.

And Kat was back home.

God that had scared the hell out of him and if the others hadn't been there to keep him at bay, he would have charged into each house, guns blazing and beat the hell out anyone until he got the answer.

Nick shook his head at that.  Okay, so he wouldn't have done that literally, but he had felt like doing that.  He wouldn't do anything to put Kat in danger.

He stood with hands on hips and looked around.

Philip didn't even know anything that had happened, he realized, thinking of his friend.  It was time to track him and Kristen down considering they hadn't heard back from them.

Nick took a deep breath and started the run back to the House.

Alex woke up and was already thinking of the fact they hadn't heard from either one of them and so got cleaned up, changed and was already in the Control Room starting a basic trace.
