Derek leaned back in his chair and regard his young friend for a moment.
"They ran a lot of tests and said the Julia was just fine." He glanced at
Alex wondering why she hadn't passed that news on to Nick. "Did Alex tell
you?"
"Yeah but that's all she said." Nick admitted "Tell me, if you heard a
friend was in the hospital and heard nothing more than they were 'okay',
wouldn't you be wanting to know a little more - or a lot more?"
Alex had to agree with that one and would have said something but seeing as
Nick was already on it, she let him handle it, even if she did slip Derek a
'that's all you're going to say?' look and then turned back to the main
screen and doing the suggested checks as well.
