Alex looked up and grinned curiously. Derek in a good mood, and having
stayed out late...... "Good morning. Double esspresso?"
Nick chuckled and added dryly "It's latte that gets people going."
Then, turning to the question Derek had asked Nick nodded at the reports
Alex had been able to pull up so far "We didn't get a location on Kristen
when she called so we're back tracking. We have her at the Egypt House
right now and Philip's with her. She purchased four tickets to San
Francisco. We should have verification that they all landed or were
re-routed in a little bit."
He then turned to the computer console he was working at "And I'm putting a
trace on her credit cards and cell phone in case she uses either before we
find them. So far no action."
Nick turned to look at Derek, chin in hand "So.. going to tell us what
happened at the hospital last night?"
Derek:
Derek gave Alex a wry smile, "I think it was the milk," he told them as he
took his seat and set his half full coffee mug on the table. He listened as
Nick explained what they had been up to and nodded. "Very good. Put
feelers out at the Boston House and try to find out if they've heard
anything from her....and contact Philip's parish." It never hurt to cover
all the bases, even unlikely ones.
Derek leaned back in his chair and regard his young friend for a moment.
"They ran a lot of tests and said the Julia was just fine." He glanced at
Alex wondering why she hadn't passed that news on to Nick. "Did Alex tell
you?"
