Julia paced in the sitting room, arms crossed and absently rubbing the other and her gaze going out of the window to the UV every once in a while with the stray thought and strong desire to go back for Derek and the others.

But she knew she wouldn't, or rather, shouldn't.

There had been explosions after they had started to leave.  Adrenaline shot through her then and still coursed through her system.  She had small cuts in her palms from the strength she had used in gripping her nails into them to keep from jumping out of the car and running back when she had heard them go off and now....

Jonathan walked in, having taken Sam and Reese straight to the tub and room set up for them, towels in his hands and expression showing his concern not only for those still out there struggling to bring the team home but for the woman before him.

"Julia.." he called her name, even his gentle tone making her look up almost sharply.  "You need to calm down.  It's not good for the baby."

Julia's blue eyes held a wealth of worry but understanding of what he said as she pointed out "Easier said then done but I'm trying."

She started to look back out the window.

"Try harder." he suggested gently as he hefted the towels he was carrying a little "It's not much of a distraction but... could you take these to your room? And maybe consider a nap until the Professor gets back."

Julia lowered her arms and went over to him, accepting some of the towels as he gave him the ones for her and Derek's bedroom "I doubt I'll get the nap."

"So do I, but can't say I'm not trying to suggest it."

She nodded slowly and left the room, hugging the towels to her as she walked up to the third floor.

Jonathan watched her go and looked at the spot she had been pacing at for the past half hour sadly.  He hoped Doctor Rayne was home soon.
