"A little cooler I think," Sam said and she gave Sloan a vague nod. "I'm
not sure I should leave her alone though."
"Perhaps the young lady should see a doctor," Sloan suggested, seeing how
pale and ill she looked. He was most curious to find out what exactly was
going on. Then something struck him. "This isn't Milo's daughter by any
chance?"
Sam nodded at him hesitantly.
"Well young lady, you have managed to cause me quite a bit of trouble and we
haven't even been properly introduced. I'm William Sloan, your father's
boss." He smiled cordially at Reese.
Reese gave him another half flop of the hand, looking at Julia.
Julia met the look and turned to Sloan, slapping a cordial smile in place
and motioned for Sloan to step outside, at the same time letting the ladies
know she'd be right back.
Once Sloan was outside and the door close Julia's chin rose "The situation
in Derek's House is being taken care of appropriately, Sloan. Thank you for
the suggestions but next time try using some tact in realizing you don'
tknow the full situation. And you're going to love me even more but Milo's
transfer from one Luna location to another is already in progress. So I'd
hold off on claiming him as your sole employee and telling his daughter,
while she's obviously not well, that she's the been trouble."
"I suggest you go wait downstairs or whever you like so long as it's not
interfereing with this House's runnings because if you stay around me for
another two minutes I'm going to give you a right hook straight to the
kisser."
With that, she re-opened the bedroom door and closed it, leaving him out in
the hallway.
"Sorry about that." she apologized to the two inside with a wry grin "He's
the resident hauty guy and means well... but tends to speak before knowing
the whole situation. So.. want to go get your things? Terry would be the
one to take you."
Female security and, because she had a feeling Sam felt ill at ease around
her, Julia had not volunteered to take her herself.
Reese chuckled at the explaination Juila used and mumbled humorously "You
mean..he's a guy..."
Julia's lips twitched "I did not say that... even if he is a guy."
