Spooning a bit of ice cream into her mouth, Kristin loved the slight
shock of cold she always got. "Well, if I have a choice, I'd prefer to
stay here, but..." she had another spoonful, and smiled. "If we don't
go to them, they'll come looking for us, so we should probably go join
them for cake." she almost shook her head at the junk food she was
eating, then reasoned that weddings happen far too infrequently for her
to worry about it.
Nick looked back at Reese just then "Don't forget that chili dog." Then he
led the two men out. He made it to the kitchen and saw Kristin and Philip
"Cake cutting time." Then he walked outside.
"We could watch them cut it," Philip mock plotted as he stood, pushing the
chair back under the table and standing, bowl in hand to do the same for
Kristin when she stood "sneak a piece an' then go play some chess. I still
owe ya fer that beatin' you gave me."
