Barbara for her part went back to the earlier conversation she had been
having with Nick "Now.. about this thing called pool..."
Nick grinned and was explaining the finer points of the game as he helped
the ladies and Kat into the UV, letting Barbara take the passenger side seat
in the front while he sat beside Kat and slipped her some chips he had
snagged from the bag to hold her over until they got to the restaurant.
Philip got in after him and Nick closed the door, still explaining.
Alex pulled out after everyone was belted in, heading toward the place Nick
had made reservations.
