Kristin frowned as her cell phone rang. She hadn't even realized she
still had it with her. Pulling it out of her purse, she said hello.
She blinked in surprise-it was Jane. Sheepishly, she was about to
apologize for not calling to check in sooner, but Jane had another
reason for calling.
Listening to Jane, Kristin finally got a couple of words in. "Okay
Jane, not a problem...I'll be there." With a slight frown she hung up.
Amber coming to San Francisco? Wondering why, she glanced at the time;
she had a few hours before she had to be at the airport to pick Amber
up, so she was going to enjoy dinner.
