Julia knew Derek wouldn't like what she was about to offer but it was the only thing she could think of "Meet me tomorrow morning at the shopping square... where you took this picture. We'll talk then."Bryce nodded slowly as he stood up from the table. Thank you, Mr. And Mrs. Rayne for your time. He motioned to the photograph on the table. Just keep that, Ill bring the negative tomorrow, along with the tux, the sample prints, and the album information.
With that, Bryce waked out of the dining room, paused to exchange a nasty look with the maitrd then went out and hopped into his van. As he drove back to his apartment, His mind was going around in circles. There was definitely something about this woman, as she saw right through him and read him like a book. She knew that spectral photography was more than a hobby to him; it was a quest.
A while later, Bryce pulled into the driveway outside his apartment. As he came into the place he called home, his grey Alaskan Husky, Smokey, greeted him, as always. Hey buddy, he greeted him as he scratched behind his ears. What ave you been doing all evening, he asked, as if he could actually carry on a conversation with the dog. All Smokey replied with was a low bark.
Oh, Really, Bryce chuckled as he walked to the kitchen and opened a can of dog food. Well, while youve been home licking yourself, Ive been out working, so we dont have to go back to Nome this week. Smokey let out a whimper at the mention of Nome, as Bryce scooped the chucks of meat into his bowl. He knew that Smokey wanted nothing more than to go back and get in front of a sled again.
After feeding his dog, Bryce called up Aldos and ordered a small Pizza for himself. Then he got to work on developing the sample prints for the meeting tomorrow.
