Sam flopped down on the bed beside Reese. "I
don't think they were vampires, I know it.
Fangs, blood sucking hte whole deal. And," she
pointed out, "it's no more wacho than a girl who
can set fires at will. Besides there were
witnesses." She went on to explain about what
happened that morning, including the fact that
she'd spent the better part of the night
searching high and low for Reese. She also told
her what she knew about Claire and Brady and the
vampires and the crypt and dungeons. "It's the
truth she added as she finished. "You know I
gave up that stuff years ago." By stuff she
meant any kind of illegal drugs. She'd done some
experimenting, but it had never been anything
more than just that.
