Sam finally managed to calm herself down. She sat up and wiped her eyes
sniffling slightly.  "Are you okay," she asked the concern clear in her face
and voice.

"As well as I can be." she answered honestly with a shrug "I guess we'll
know when the memories hit.. if they do.  At least tell me we took a lot of
those bastards out.  And what happened to Derek.. Julia..? Was that Nick guy
involved?"

That would make sense.. why he didn't go after her for taking his bike....
