"Oh," Derek said with interest "That should be interesting."
Then he smiled and kissed her again. "Do you mean this?"
Julia smiled "Well that too but I meant all of this."
'All of this' was what they had with each other and was sure to grow with
each passing moment. She returned his kiss and then chuckled at his next
comment, nodding in agreement and slipping her hand into his.
"We should probably go check on the others and make sure my mother hasn't
taken Nick for every penny he has."
"I should ask her to win his whole snack supply." she teased as they left to
return to the table, the food just barely getting there.
"Hello," Barbara smiled at them before raising her hand to signal the others
"Enjoy your game?"
"I did." Julia grinned as she sat down, letting Derek answer for himself.
