Derek turned his attention to Kristen. "So where's your charge," he
asked
curiously. He known she was going off to pick up someone from
Boston, some
kid. He had to admit he was slightly miffed with Jane for not even
bothering to ask if it was all right to send the girl, but he was too
happy
at the moment to dwell on that. He'd deal with her later.
She did a quick glance around the room at Derek's question. "Well, I
know she was playing pool...but I think I saw her heading in the
direction of the restrooms with Kat." With smile, she continued. "You
guys looked like you were having so much fun, I didn't want to
interrupt; I'll introduce you to Amber as soon as she gets back."
