Julia gave him a soft kiss and turned him toward the movie, doing exactly
that, lowering her hands to the middle of his back and sides and continuing
to massage his muscles "Just wait until my backaches start. You have to
make sure not to go flying into walls around that time you know."
The movie started and she reached over for a kernel of popcorn, smiling as
she held it for him to eat, then got some for herself before going back to
rubbing his back and watching the movie.
"I'll do the best I can," Derek promised her. "But I don't always have a
choice in the matter." He ate the popcorn Julia offered him and was soon
absorbed in the movie. It had always fancinated him and he couldn't really
explain why, but he'd liked it since he first swa it on the late show when
he was about....14 or so. He hoped Julia found it as intriguing.
The back massage felt wonderful and he lay there perfect still allowing her
to continue until she tired. When the film finished he hit the button for
the next video.
