Derek smiled at her reassuringly. "I'll ask Sloan to stop by there,
if he
thinks we should go out there, then we will. But we really do need
to speak
with the others outside of the house. It will look suspicious if a
group of
us just barge in there and I will not send two people alone if things
are
that bad."
He stood up and headed out the door, planning on going to his office
to make
a call.
Kristin almost groaned with frustration. And Derek was going to take
action if Sloan thinks it's needed? That was a little odd to say the
least.
She got up and filled her glass with water, briefly considering
leaving and going to Boston on her own, but rejected that idea almost
before it could fully form. She was going to have to make a decision
about Houses soon, and that type of action would pretty much make the
decision for her.
Draining her glass, she refilled it, continuing to churn arguments
around in her head, trying to decide what would get Derek to agree to
letting her and Philip head out to Boston.
