Derek hesitated looking around the room. He had cared for Megan and if she
was sincerely willing to try and get along with Julia that meant a lot. He
knew he should go, though he couldnt' imagine why Alex and Julia had gone
there. "I'm in the middle of something right now....how about if I stop by
after that's sorted out?"
Megan let relief sound in her voice "Thank you."
And if he had to wait to come over, she thought, looking at the clock again,
it would be too late for him to do anything to help that interloper.
"I'll see you then."
