Amber nodded slowly. She WAS a bit nervous about being without Kristin, but she wasn't about to make Kristin babysit her. "I'll be fine. I'd rather you be looking into whatever's going on with Jane and worrying about yourself over there than worrying about me. And like you said they're nice people," she said, sitting next to Kristin.
"Well, we'll figure out what's going on; and hopefully, we can help her-or find someone else who can." Kristin was confident she was speaking the truth. As unsure as she was about what was happening in Boston, she reasoned that it couldn't be extremely serious, or they would've heard from them by now. Amber looked tired, and Kristin didn't want to keep her from getting some rest; besides, she wanted to make sure she got some too before they headed out. "I'm going to go make sure I've got my things together for tomorrow," she walked over to the door and turned, giving Amber a small smile. "I'm sure Julia will be by with your dinner any minute now...and get some sleep. I'll see you in the morning."
