Julia nodded and settled back for the ride, quietly thoughtful and yet stealing herself for what was about to happen. She slipped her hand over and squeezed his when they were on the ferry, knowing it wasn't going to be easy for him either, only to slowly withdraw when the ferry set them on the other side and he needed both hands to drive.
It was a matter of minutes before they reached the station and Frank was the first to spot and greet them, motioning them over past the front desk and to a room as he opened the door "We're waiting for Rachel but this is the room you can be in during the session." He looked at them both before asking "You sure you want to do this?" "Yes," Derek told him firmly. "I want to know what went wrong with her." And it went unsaid, but was clear in his gaze that he wanted to be there for his wife. "We'll be fine Frank. You worry too much."
