"What now?" she asked quietly, holding him close. "I'm not sure," Derek admitted "Why don't you tell me?"
"All I know is that I love you." Julia admitted "And I know you love me." She looked up at him, her lips turning in a ghost of a smile "I remember the look in your eyes... that first night. I don't want you to regret anything with us, Derek. And....... and I feel like she's trying to do just that." Julia sighed and hugged him close, listening to his heartbeat as she laid her head back against his chest "Nick accepted it, even gave us his blessing and moved on." She just couldn't understand why Megan hadn't done the same thing. Or that she felt like the woman was still trying to manipulate Derek somehow. "No one could ever make me regret anything that has happened between us," Derek assured. "That is not even an issue. I regret things I've done, but nothing with regard to you."
