Derek sighed with irritation when his phone began to ring. He pulled it out and flipped it open listening for a few moment. "Has anyone ever told you that you have horrendous timing? As for your aide, perhaps I should call back and show him what yelling really is. I was quite civil. Apparently there have been some disturbing changes in Jane over the last few weeks. Kristin, Nick and Philip headed out there to look into it and I thought you might be interested in what was going on."
Julia shifted so that her arms were around Derek's waist while he talked, her cheek against his jacket. When he hung up with Sloan and tucked his phone back into his jacket pocket she looked up at him, meeting his gaze, searching.
