Derek smiled at this. "All right, we should probably go get changed. I have a little work to do first, but why don't you go get ready and I'll be along shortly."
"Got yourself a deal, handsome." She gave him the bag of cheese puffs and kissed his cheeks before starting up the stairs. She even knew the dress she was going to wear. Derek dropped the bag off in the kitchen and then headed up to his office to make reservation and see what sort of last minute entertainment he could dredge up. As it turned out he couldn't have picked a better time. It was the middle of the week and he was able to secure box seat tickets to a show and dinner reservations at an elegant revolving restaurant that over looked the bay. He then headed upstairs where he took a quick shower, shaved and changed into one ov his nicer suits. He now stood before the mirror tying his tie.
