Before it could push the door open, however, something else caught the demon's attention. Turning quickly, it saw Julia looking at it. Frustrated, and knowing this would be its only chance, the demon quickly changed its course and lunged towards Julia with inhuman speed.
The coffee and it's contents went crashing down to the floor as Julia lifted the sterling silver serving tray and swung as hard as she could, somehow managing to hit whatever it was flying toward her in the head as she yelled out "DEREK!!" She looked at the tray and saw a large dent and then at the body that was supposed to be Amber.
