Jane stopped in front of the picture of Queen Elizabeth and waited for the retinal scan to complete, then, as per the specs of the new security system Julia had created in San Francisco, she put her thumb to its frame, explaining to the both of them as she was finally cleared "This new security system checked all aspects of a person's generic makeup, to make sure the person entering is, in fact, the actual person."   Jane nodded at Nina, who had already been in the Control Room, and continued "Which, considering the new danger we are facing, is indeed a godsend. Nina, call up the tapes."   Jane indicated the main screen and a bedroom scene that showed an outraged Jane Witherspoon attacking Amber "This was something we found after Amber left, on surveillance cameras."   She went to a computer and typed something out, then looked at the screen, which now split into three sections; one normal, one showing everything in green and then the third showing most everything in green save for Jane "We ran our spectrograph on the tape and..... nothing.  It said it was me.  We ran it through Julia's new system and..."   She nodded at the third "It clearly shows that wasn't me."   She looked at the two "Imagine my surprise when I came from a mission overseas to look into my team's eyes and wonder if I were possessed from hell."   "We didn't know you were on the mission, Jane." Chris said, having entered just then and nodding in greeting to the others "Secret missions suck that way."   "Hmm, being thought of as a demon by my own House," Jane replied with some measure "'sucks'."
