The older woman knew about her almost quitting the Legacy but let that go, seeing as it was a moot point. She did, though, say somewhat humorously, although her tone while being humorous tended to always come out as if she were thoughtful about the subject "He did say something about saving Twinkies."
Laughing, Kristin started towards the door. Turning back, she gazed at Jane a moment more. "Hmmm, well, I think that's probably my cue; he tends to be...quite protective of his 'food'." One more smile to Jane, Kristin headed up to her room. She hated good-byes, but knowing Jane would know that, she figured she could say one last good-bye before she left. Speaking of good-byes, she veered over to Amber's room and knocked softly.
