Amber tried to divert her thoughts to other things, such as her room arrangement which she still wasn't quite sure on, trying to avoid getting too nervous about what would happen, both here and in Boston. Once back upstairs, she went to what she thought was Derek's office and gave the door two quick knocks.
Julia blinked and looked back, hearing a knock outside in the hallway. Ooops, she thought, going to the sliding door and peeking out into the hall and apologizing sheepishly "I guess it would have helped if I had told you where the office is." She tilted her head to the side for Amber to follow her in, the door staying open before swishing shut behind the teen once she entered. "So how'd you sleep last night?" Julia asked, offering Amber a seat on the couch as she sat on the other end.
