Amber grinned at Julia's remark. "I'll remember." she said.
She was sure she would soon begin to feel more comfortable. But what was still in the back of her mind was the whole incident with the Tribunal. But she took comfort in the fact that Derek didn't seem angry about it anymore. "Well, you said you had a busy day ahead of you, so if you want me to let you go," Amber said, nodding towards the door. "The person that had called started talking and Julia raised her finger again with a half grin. Multi-tasking, what a rush. Bryce blinked at the voice of Julia, remembering that it had been an unusual picture of her that had started this whole ordeal. As he started speaking, Bryce couldn't help but wonder how many more times he would cross paths with this woman. "Mrs. Rayne," he said in greeting. "This is Bryce Markham. First,I think I owe you a big 'thank you'. If there's anything you ever need, personally or professionally, that I can help with don't hesitate to ask." Julia paused for a moment, an idea coming to her as she looked at Amber, and remembering her talk with Derek about pictures "Well, you don't owe me anything, I'm glad we could help. But, I would like to talk to you about taking pictures. It's coming up on family photo time. A picture with everyone in the extended family. How open does your schedule look for, say next week?" Include Amber in the pictures and let her have one. A physical reminder that she was a part of the House. "Could you hold a moment?" she asked, moving the headphones and putting the call on mute as she stood up, asking Amber "Is there anything else you need? The gastank is full and there's a twenty in the glove compartment. Thought you could use some junk food money while you were out." She went to the desk, just in case there was something the teen would need. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
