Nick had noticed that but damned if he wasn't going to
just accept what he saw at face value as he looked at Derek "Mind clueing us
in?"
"Sure," Julia said dryly "Just put the gun
down."
She looked at the Soulchaser and asked humorlessly
"Everyone knows everyone. Soulchaser's here because Derek and I were
jumping in the parking lot by some demon teenagers that were sent to take us
out. Someone from the inside of Hell is sneaking the things by him to get
to us and we have to get ready now in case who or whatever it is decides to send
something else. The rest of it can wait until we start working on tracking
a man down that may know of the location of the sixth
seplicur."
