Nick heard them coming downstairs and turned to look, only to freeze when he spotted the Soulchaser and then slam the sitting room door shut before pulling out his gun and aiming at the thing. He spoke at the same time Derek did when the Precept had answered the door "What in the hell are you doing here?"
