Hey Will,
The Bower download zipper always pulls from master, so it's always the
latest version. It basically runs the equivalent of:
bower install Polymer/core-input#master
You can run the same to download the latest from github. What's on the
website is the latest tagged release (0.4.2). I agree it's confusing and
something we need to fix
