When talking about system monitoring (/scores), I keep noticing, that my
server's offset graph ( http://www.pool.ntp.org/scores/193.87.160.18 ) is
not dancing around 0.0 but 6.0 ms. I'm wondering whether it's something
I can tweak on my server, or I should consider this as a sntp issue
(something
like wrong network latency in calculation)... Is there any way I can
test this?
I'm really curious (and newbie).

Hi, ntpq -pn 193.87.160.18 shows that you have only one upstream time server (195.113.144.201). If that's indeed the case, I'd recommend adding a few more. There may be different opinions about the optimal number of servers in ntp.conf, but something like five might be a good idea. See http://www.pool.ntp.org/en/join/configuration.html

ntpd will still synchonize to only one upstream server, but will use the other servers to give it a better estimate of the difference to the correct time.
