Dear,
I've got a server in Egypt (s01.eg.it2go.eu) and i would like to install
a NTP server on it. Everything went well, but i can't find any NTP
stratum 1 or 2 server in Egypt (or around) to sync with.
Anyone that have some idea's? I've already tried the two wiki pages
(stratum one and stratum two) on pool.ntp.org but there isn't mentioned
one in Egypt.

Perhaps you could add a cheap GPS puck such as the Garmin GPS 18x LVC or
Sure Electronics unit (about US $40), all you need (ha!) is a serial port.

If the Internet is very bad, you could even use the GPS over USB (with the
virtual baud rate set high, e.g. 57600 baud). Although USB is worse than a
serial port connection (where the DCD line is used to send the PPS signal),
it may still be better than a really poor Internet connection.
