So, it might be helpful to educate all pool server operators a little on this 
DDOS?

The most easy and straight forward might be to simply send an e-mail to all 
server
operators to check their config and make them aware that the problem exists. If 
I
understand correctly the tool is already integrated in the manage page, so 
people
can test it as well.
