got through OK, but also produced a separate error message: From: Mail Delivery System <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender Parts/Attachments: 1 Shown 7 lines Text 2 Shown 121 bytes Message, "Delivery Status" 3 Shown 1.3 KB Message, "Please ignore -- checking current pop-forum list" 3.1 Shown 10 lines Text ---------------------------------------- This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: [email protected] [ Part 2: "Delivery Status" ] Reporting-MTA: dns; mx2.cs.bham.ac.uk Action: failed Final-Recipient: rfc822;[email protected] Status: 5.0.0 [I presume the same will happen with this one.] Please ignore such messages for the time being. I hope there's a temporary fault that will 'go away' or be fixed. If the fault persists I'll try to get help from a local expert. I apologise to senders who will be getting these messages for the time being. For now, just delete them -- unless you are curious and can find something in a message header that suggests an explanation. Aaron
