Is there a problem using the SMTP server of your provider?  As long as 
that forwarding account still worked, you could continue to use the 
address of "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" as your contact address, by configuring 
your client to your local provider with a reply-to address of your 
[EMAIL PROTECTED] .

Meanwhile, our POP3 list is all about remote pop3 services.  Have you 
tried working with any of the services we speak of on this list?
