They definately have some contradictions here...
Notice the statement in their terms of service:
"MAIL.RU keeps the right to stop supporting the addresses that are inactive
for 5 months (receiving messages for a mail.ru address is not considered as
an activity)."
If they aren't going to supply a SMTP server, how are you supposed to
remain active? (grin)
