Okay gang, this 123India.com I just signed up for looks good to me.  
You get both POP3 and SMTP.  Hassle-free signup.

I was unable to find the pop and smtp servers. <duh>  So I had to 
guess.  This worked for the account: 

pop3 and smpt (both) = mail.123india.com 


Get one.  Get two.  Get many. :-) 

Er...I just got one for now.  I'll see how it behaves.
