I had a message from eGroups last night that their servers would be 
down for maintenance for one hour during prime time.  Since Yahoo now 
owns those servers, maybe there was a connection.  

Nonetheless, it is par for the course to see Yahoo down for brief 
periods.  However, I just made a quick check to one of my yahoo 
accounts this morning and it connected fine.
