I wonder if you folks that are receiving lots of spam in your Hotmail inbox
have activated the so-called "In-Box Protector"? If you do, anything that
doesn't have you addy in either the "To:" or "Cc:" fields is routed to your
"Bulk Mail" folder. I'm guessing that around 75% of the spam I receive now
goes to my Bulk Mail folder. Of course, you have to empty it from time to
time manually, since--unlike your Trash Can--stuff in Bulk Mail counts
against your 2Mb limit.

OE 5.5 works pretty well for me on Hotmail, so I can't tell any horror
stories myself. I wonder if using the IE repair too--which also does OE, if
it's installed--would help anything?
